Steeplechase Neighborhood - Edmond

Hello Homeowners!

The Steeplechase Board of Directors has announced a complete re-vote of  two issues: the Second Special Assessment and election of the 2012 BOD.

All homeowners by now should have received voting packets.  Review these, cast your votes and mail in the self addressed/stamped envelope provided.  Make sure you sign where indicated and print your name. Also, place your return address on the envelope.

All ballots will be received by the Election Committee, chaired by Mark Christian, and consisting of homeowners not currently on the board nor on the ballet for 2012.

The BOD has called a Special Meeting of the Homeowners for November 17th, in the cafeteria of the Centenial School just north of Coffee Creek on Coltrane.  At this meeting, providing quorum is met, results of the revote of the BOD election AND the Second Special Assessment will be announced.

The Special Assessment will require a clear majority of 131 "yes" votes to pass.

The current BOD has announced that all four areas of work of the current creek project will proceed uninterrupted until completed. Two projects have been completed under budget. This, with a loan from both the "Rainy Day Fund" and the remaining operating fund for the year will fund the completion. The new assessment of $550, if passed, will return funds to budget.
